Style

Carrot is all about authenticity, so stock photography must be chosen very carefully and should not in any way appear to be stock photography that has inauthentic poses or awkward lighting. Whenever possible, photos of Carrot Team members should be used, but photos should still be professional and well-lit.

If stock photos must be sourced, istock/Getty images are preferred over sites that have lower-quality imagery like shutterstock.com.

When taking photos follow these guidelines:

Color: Photojournalistic. Natural tone with no skew towards any specific colors. Natural Saturation & Contrast, not toned up or down.

Light: Ample lighting, using natural light whenever possible, even exposure and neutral contrast and saturation
